The Build Log #2 - February 2026 Edition

Welcome to a new edition of The Build Log!

This is a monthly update where I'll share what I've been working on, the releases that have shipped, exciting milestones, what's coming next, and more.

Let's dive into what happened this month!

Releases

This month, 4 releases have been launched:

Updates

Experiments

Articles

  • Why I use Starlight for my docs: after testing multiple documentation frameworks and even considering building my own, I realized what truly matters in great documentation. In this article, I share what I learned, the alternatives I tried, and why Starlight became my definitive choice.

What's Next

Here's everything you can expect for next month:

  • SEO in Astro: after 3 beta versions, version 1.0 will launch at the beginning of next month. There are still some small tweaks to be made, but it's almost ready.
  • SEO in Next.js: releasing version 1.1, as I've noticed several necessary improvements while working with the library for over a month. Some of these include the ability to ignore routes in sitemap.xml generation, improved robots.txt generation, and more.
  • Nova.js: after more than a year without updates, I'll be starting work on Nova.js version 2.0. There's a lot I want to do with it, so I can't promise it'll be ready next month.
  • More Agent Skills: after successfully creating the SEO in Next.js skill, I want to create agent skills for the rest of my projects: SEO in Astro, Starlight Page Actions, and Starlight UI Tweaks.

That's a wrap for this edition of The Build Log.

As always, I want to take a moment to thank all of you, both current and past supporters, for your trust and encouragement.
